Daily Mail agrees with Sisson – three years later

Pro cyclistsIn the world of footbiking, we know that no idea is too old for consideration; no primal practice is too bizarre for our bailiwick.

We especially liked the idea that dialing back on our exercise conferred health benefits heretofore unbruited. And now that distinguished scientific journal the Daily Mail is weighing in firmly on the agree side:

Extreme exercise such as marathons may permanently damage the heart and trigger rhythm abnormalities, warn researchers. They say the safe ‘upper limit’ for heart health is a maximum of an hour a day – after which there is little benefit to the individual.

All right! Y’all had me in October of ‘ought-nine!
