Hindsight concept glasses increase peripheral vision

Nike Hindsight glasses user(This ancient piece of news comes from my recent discovery of GizMag, the hardware technology website.) Designer Billy May (not the deceased pitchman, though I would have liked to hear what he could have done with these) has developed eyeglasses that use Fresnel lenses, originally for lighthouses, which provide a wide aperture and short focal length, to increase peripheral vision. They were developed for cyclists (which designation also obviously belongs to us, though I find it easier to look behind me on a footbike already).

And, of course, “concept” glasses means they aren’t in production – yet, though they should be easy enough to manufacture.
