Footbiking plays a part in FMS treatment

Dave's rideDave Riley, of the Kickbiking Journeys ‘blog, writes about the part footbiking plays in dealing with fybromyalgia:

“Since I had difficulty mounting a bicycle, I built myself a scooter – a dog scooter – and pushed that. I now use a (Norwegian style) kickbike to get around.”

This was a complement to weight training and boxing in his new exercise regimen, which produced results. Among his findings:

“Pain in FMS is relieved and restrained by exercise that pushes the body rather than simply moving it.”

Footbiking: Just what the doctor (should have) ordered!
