Modern PegasusThe first bicycle ancestors had more to do with scooting than biking, being without pedals and all. Where the modern-day footbike and bicycle definitively parted ways, though, was the area of rider support. Footbikes sensibly support the rider with only hands and feet; the bicycle inherited its ancestors’ sore spot, giving the feeling of being run out of town on a rail.
