Midwinter footbike tour Saturday in Holland

Midwinter SteptochtAh, to live where footbiking is known to more than a dozen individuals: Finland, of course, and Australia come to mind, but especially the Netherlands.

This Saturday the Midwinter Steptocht will be held in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The distance is about 25 km and the theme is fun and having a great time. Dinner in the Vierjaargetijden restaurant will round out the day.

Temptingly, it’s not far from Schiphol airport.

  1. Hi Peter and Greetings from Finland!
We have lots of snow even in the Southern-Finland. This is Kickspark-time. Hopefully I could do some kicking during my holiday weeks.
I wish you Peter and other readers around the world.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  2. Hi Heli
Some of my friends in the northern USA have kicksparks; here in coastal North Carolina snow is rare (we are on the same latitude as the Strait of Gibralter) but it’s not too cold to kick my footbike.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too!
